Welcome to the LOBOmotorsports (LMS) 2026 team! We are a group of passionate students who design, build, and race high-performance cars at the University of New Mexico. Join us on our journey as we push the limits of engineering and innovation.
Leadership

Left to Right: Katrina Sadzewicz (Deputy Project Manager), Bailey Lucero (Project Manager), Kaitlyn Vigil (Systems Engineer)
Meet the minds behind our LMS Leadership team.
They are the driving force that leads our team to success and are the first all-women leadership team in the program’s history. Managing schedules, finances, and systems integration, they
ensure that our team stays on track.
Chasis, Steering, and Suspension
(CSS)

Top Left to Right: Justin Burgess, Braden Frankland, Johnny Montoya, Maximiliano Monge
Bottom Left to Right: Reija Lynch, Christopher Vasquez (Team Lead), Ayden Mitchell
Meet our CSS team!
CSS designs and produces high-performance automotive components for FSAE cars at UNM, including chassis, steering, and suspension systems. With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, they are sure to take the competition by storm.
Aerodynamics

Left to Right: Alex Hoover, Jacob Webb, Sagan Cox (Team Lead), Lucas Lopez
Introducing our Aerodynamics team!
They specialize in designing, simulating, fabricating, and testing the wings and bodywork that help our FSAE car stick to the track. Using advanced simulations and real-world testing, they fine-tune airflow to boost downforce, reduce drag, and improve handling. Their work makes the car faster, more efficient, and perform its best!
Brakes

Left to Right: Stephan Udall, Adrian Fernandez, Gavin DeBerry
Bottom: Cody Krug (Team Lead)
Meet our braking team!
Their knowledge and experience ensure the safety and performance of the car on the track. With the Brake team's guidance, you can confidently navigate any challenge on the road.
Data Acquisition

Left to Right: Angela Brown, Andre Kahn, Markus Chacon (Team Lead), Jose Carretero
Meet the DAQ team, a group of talented engineers and data enthusiasts.
With their expertise in data acquisition and analysis, they play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our race car..
Powertrain
